Liebherr R920
Compliant with Stage V emissions regulations the Liebherr R920 is a rail conversion combined with AJH's hydrostatic rail axles and an integrated RCI safety system making it the ultimate lifting machine.
Our conversion of the Liebherr R920 culminates in the ultimate heavy lifting machine. Available for both UK (standard gauge) and Irish rail (broad gauge) or both UK and Irish gauge with our dual gauge axle option. Liebherr's superb build quality means longer lifespan of components and an automatic centralised lubrication system means reliability has been built into the machine reducing maintenance and improving efficiency. Panoramic visibility and a built in camera system along with an RCI system prevents the machine from exceeding its limits and results in a safer working environment for both the operator and surrounding workers.

RCI System
Our lifting road rail vehicles are fitted with GKD Rail safety systems. Now with the option of integrated proximity warning sensors, the fitted RCI system now not only manages the lifting capabilities of the machine, ensuring the operator and machine can work safely. But ensures that any operational procedures are conducted in a safe working area keeping the machine and surrounding personnel out of harms way.
Cab Interior
The spacious Liebherr R920 cab is equipped with plenty of quality of life features to help assist operators on long shifts. 360 visibility, an equipped operator seat and large touch screen displays with intuitive navigation menus make the R920 simple to operate.
Hydrostatic
Our unique hydrostatic drive solution, uses a through drive axle and a centrally mounted gear box, providing superior traction and braking. This design also reduces flange wear and provides better handling of curves. The stub axle system keeps the wheel loads independant of the drive loads, maximising life span and a much more reliable solution than traditional wheel motors.
User selectable drive modes for work, travel and creep allow the machines to be adapted to different operating conditions, maximising productivity and reducing operator work load.
