Prolec's Liftwatch 5 rated capacity indicator has been designed to meet UK and European requirements for the provision of rated capacity indicators (RCI). Liftwatch 5 ensures maximum legal lifting capacity over the entire safe working envelope of a machine.
The versatility of the liftwatch 5 rated capacity indicator has been expanded to incorporate a range of additional features leading to enhanced user benefits. Using CAN bus technology, Liftwatch 5 is widely recognised as the industry leading LOLER compliant rated capacity indicator product in the UK.

Heightmaster is Prolec's most advanced height restriction system and is based on the Liftwatch 5 hardware platform. It monitors the equipments position and prevents the maximum safe working height from being exceeded. Heightmaster height restriction system uses a sensor on each articulation of the machine, meaning multiple articulation machines can be equipped easily. Using Heightmaster ensures both plant and operator can work safely in height limited environments.
The height restriction system has the following features:
- Store multiple safe working heights
- "Dial in" safe working heights via display
- Motion cut available on each articulation
- Key switch operation for improved safety management

Liftwatch Rail is the market leading safe load indicator for road rail excavators, having been specifically designed to improve safety and efficiency during lifting operations on track or on road. Compliant with RIS-1530-PLT, and approved for use on the SNCF rail network in France, the Liftwatch Rail safe load indicator is easy to use and enables a road rail excavator to achieve the maximum safe lift over the entire working envelope of the machine.

Prolec's motion control system is an envelope monitoring system designed to give extensive protection across the machine's entire working envelope and combines both height and slew monitoring in a single package. Its features include the facility to set separate left and right slew limits, each of which can be combined with height monitoring.
It is ideally suited for plant such as back hoes, where height limits for both shovel and bucket can be set separately. The system can also be supplied with motion cut for added protection.
The motion control system offers the following benefits:

Every year about 5500 people are killed in workplace accidents in
the EU, of which about a third are related to transport. These accidents usually involve people: being struck or run over by moving
vehicles (e.g. during reversing); falling from vehicles; being struck by objects falling from vehicles; or vehicles overturning. These accidents can be avoided by effective management and prevention measures.
ZoneSafe is a proximity warning system designed to be used where the proximity of people and vehicles working together is of concern.
The ZoneSafe system produces a detection zone around a vehicle, machine or even a restricted area.
When the zone is breached by personnel wearing a ZoneSafe tag the machine operator is alerted to their presence and can take the appropriate action.
ZoneSafe can be deployed on a wide variety of off highway and road going vehicles as well as other static machinery such as crushers. |
