The last 2 machines from a batch of 12 Komatsu PC80’s for HAWK which have been fitted with Prolec PME 500 height and slew limit systems with machine envelope, includes offset boom control have just been completed, these machines are destined for the M6 smart motorway upgrade, well done team!!

Allan J Hargreaves Plant Engineers are the Uk dealer for Rototilt rail applications, the following Rototilt products now have achieved product acceptance by Network Rail for use on the UK infrastructure: RT30, RT40B / R4, RT60B / R6, RT80 / R8. AJH Plant have recently completed the upgrade of 2 Case 988’s for Difuria contractors, these will be exported to Singapore for use on a new project.

The machines have been upgraded with direct rail wheel braking, hydraulic trailer service braking, twin cab conversion and full respray. The machines have also had travel cut features, directional rail lighting and servicing carried out. These machines are further to a previous batch of 4 machines upgraded for Difuria the previous year.

Allan Hargreaves Plant Engineers attended the Myerscough College apprentice awards evening on Wednesday 08/07/2015.
During the awards ceremony Allan was asked to present the apprentice awards for the mechanical skills categories.
Following this Allan was delighted to receive the small business employer of the year and MyApprentice champion 2015.
Both awards were presented in recognition of the work our three first year apprentices have achieved and the companies commitment to training and development of the existing workforce.

AJHPLANT have recently supplied TXM PLANT with six new Rototilt R4 tiltrotators giving their rail plant fleet greater versatility and productivity.

These rototilts can be supplied with either double acting or telescopic rams dependant on customer preference. The R4 model is aimed at machines with a base weight of between 10 and 16 tons.
